Baufal Banglamati stall at Frankfurt fair

Bangladesh’s renowned pottery company Banglamati has returned to the country after participating in Ambiente Fair 2024 organized by German Messe Frankfurt.
In this five-day fair that started from last January 26, hundreds of visitors and buyers visited the pottery of this company with interest. Many of them expressed their interest to visit Bangladesh and increase their business with this country.
At the CBI stand in the fair, 20 Bangladeshi handicraft companies participated, one of them being Banglamati (Soil of Bengal) displayed the works of clay artisans of Baufal of Patuakhali district, said Shishir Kumar, owner of the firm.
After returning to the country, he shared his experience of the fair on Saturday said that from 130 countries of the world, participated in the Ambiante fair with various handicraft products including household items.
He said that this fair has created an opportunity for Bangladesh’s handicraft products to have a huge demand in the foreign market. The image of the country has brightened.
