Swagata again in negative role after 17 years

Zinat Sanu Swagata is a popular actress
of the small screen. She has also worked
in movies. Apart from acting, she is
also known as a singer.
Swagata made her big screen debut in 2007 with Zainal Abedin’s movie titled
‘Shotru Shotru Khela’. In this movie, she
acted with Manna and Moushumi.
She played the role of a villain in the
first movie of her career.
This time after 17 years, Swagata will be
a villain again in a movie. She will be seen
in the negative role in the web film titled ‘Kishori’ directed by Anjan Aich.
The shooting of the movie has already
started. While talking about in the negative role in the web film, actress Swagata told
this correspondent, “Either villain or positive character is not important to me. I always
look for variations between characters. After hearing the story of the web film, I thought
I should do the work. Villain or negative role here does not mean the story of a woman who breaks a family or cheats. It’s a character that
is absolutely beat cut. I hope the audience will like my character in this web film.”
It is mentioned that last year the movie ‘Asombhob’ starring Swagata was released.
Two movies starring her titled ‘Manusher Bagan’ and ‘Deyaler Desh’ are awaiting
release, according to the actress.
