Prof Aziz elected for 2nd time form Sirajganj-3

In the 12th parliamentary elections, Prof Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz won from 64 Sirajganj 3 Tarash Raiganj constituencies in Boat symbol. This constituency consists of 2 upazilas Tarash and Raiganj. Out of this Tarash upazila consists of 8 unions and one municipality. Total voters in this upazila are 1 lakh 56 thousand 5 hundred 34 people. Among them, 77 thousand 998 are male voters, 78 thousand 533 female voters and 3 third gender voters.
Total voters of Raiganj upazila are 2 lakh 58 thousand 3 hundred 9 people. Among them, 1 lakh 30 thousand 465 male voters, 1 lakh 27 thousand 842 female voters and 2 third gender voters. On Sunday (January 7) polling started simultaneously in 58 polling stations of the upazila at around 8 am and polling stopped at 4 pm. A total of 75 thousand 648 votes were collected.
