EC suspends voting of 21 centres in 9 constituencies

The Election Commission (EC) suspended votes of 21 polling centres in nine constituencies across the country for different irregularities and violence.
At the same time, the executive magistrates punished 20 people, who were involved in the incidents, according to the EC.

The suspended polling stations are Mirpur government Primary School, Noagon Primary School and Shukurnagar Primary School of Sunamgonj-2, Charandeep Landless Primary School (Center No 25), Dakshin Phul Churi Primary School (Center No 74), Moranguna Asur Government Primary School (Center No 80) of Cox’s Bazar-1, Jagir Mirzapur Government Primary School (Center No 70) of Jamalpur-5.

Polls of Ibrahimpur Government Primary School (Center No 134) of Narsingdi-4, Dulalpur Senior Fazil Madrasa (Center No 5), Vitichinadi Government Primary School (Center No 8) of Narsingdi-3, Kaheta Government Primary School (Center No 16), of Tangail-2, Gurgaram (DR) Pilot Government High School (Centre No 76), Dhanirampur DDSY High School (Centre No 81) of Cumilla-3 and Suryapur Government Primary School (Center No 84) of Cumilla-4 have suspended.

Besides, the other polling stations are Bagoir Government Primary School (Centre No 28), Gobindpur Samchul Huda Dakhil Madrasa (Centre No 35), Dhanijakara Government Primary School (Centre No 38), Amanganda Adarsh High School (Centre No 49), Hingula Hashania High School-1 (Centre No 74 Centre), Hingula Hashania High School-2 (Center No 75) and Batisa Secondary Girls School-1 (Center No 83).
