Paramount responds to anti-Semitic allegations against ‘Hulk’

Paramount has accused Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo of using an ‘anti-Semitic trope’ in his criticism of Paramount Skydance’s $111 billion deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).

The actor has denied the accusation, saying that his criticism of the Israeli government, military technology suppliers or executives involved is in no way a stance against the Jewish people.

Ruffalo, a longtime critic of Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza and a supporter of Palestinian rights, released a statement on social media on Friday, highlighting the relationship between Paramount Skydance and technology company Oracle.

David Ellison is the CEO of Paramount Skydance, while his father, Larry Ellison, is the CEO of technology company Oracle.

Oracle has been supplying software to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the Ministry of Defense, the Air Force, the government and the police for decades.
