Passenger trains to ply on Mongla-Jashohar route Jan 1

Two pairs of commuter trains carrying passengers will ply on Mongla-Jashohar newly constructed rail route for the first time on the 1st day of 2024. Considering the facilities for the passengers the commuter trains the time tables was already declared by the Rly Authorities. After about long 73 years of its (Mongla Port) foundation it (Port) was connected with the railway networks of the whole of the country. On November 02 Sheikh Hasina, daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman and the Premier of the country inaugurated this Mongla-Fultala newly constructed the Rail line. After about long 2 months of its inauguration by the Premier the plying of the trains will be started with 2 pairs of commuter trains carrying the passengers on the 1st day of the 1st month of the new calendar year (2024).
