MANIKGANJ: A 2-day long training course on disability inclusive disaster risk reduction (DiDRR) for the members of Union Disaster Management Committee (UDMC) ends on Monday. The training was held at Uthali Union Parishad Complex under Shibalayan in Manikganj District. UNO Md. Jahidur Rahman was chief gest. Manikganj Disabled people’s organization to Development MDPOD organised the training programme where CBM Global, Bangladesh supported and CDD Training Institute (CTI) facilitated it. Uthali Union Parishad Chairman Md. Abbas Ali inaugurated the training. CDT Project Manager Md. Tarik Ahamed was trainer. Union Parishad Chairman, members and woman members, Teachers, Imam, Social worker, Journalist, elite persons and disabled people took part in the training.
