Berger celebrates Exceptional Talent in Bangladesh

Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited proudly hosted the first-ever “Berger Awards for Interior Design 2023,” an event celebrating the talents of interior designers nationwide.
The ceremony occurred at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in the capital on Thursday December 7.
In the “Professional” category, awards were presented to Architect Mahmudul Anowar RiyadArchitect Mamnoon Murshed Chowdhury, Architect Daniel Haque for the project PMG Art- Gallery, ArchitectManifa Rehnuma, for project Mongolalok, Architect Md. Rakibul Hasan and Architect Nusrat Kabir for Auchan Retailwhile the “Amateur” category saw Fahim Bin Faruk Mashfi and Sarah Mahboob for project Household by Fahim Bin Faruk MashfiSarah Mahboob, and Md. Harun Sultan for Pinewood Cafe got the recognition. Each winner received a prize of one lakh Bangladeshi Taka, a certificate and a trophy.
Addressing the audience as the chief guest of the event, Rupali Chowdhury, the Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, expressed, “It is a matter of great pride for Berger to initiate recognition for the country’s interior designers.
The impressive talent showcased by the country’s best and emerging designers in this competition highlights the potential of the interior design sector in Bangladesh.
I assure you that these talented designers will continue to have Berger’s support in the coming days.”
Architect Jalal Ahmad, an advisor to the jury, commented, “Bangladeshi architects have consistently brought honour to our country on theinternational stage.
The promising field of interior design holds greatpotential for Bangladesh, too.
And I believe if they continue to have these kinds of support, they have the potential to do something extraordinary as well.
Berger’s commitment to this sector is commendable.”
The esteemed judging panel included top architects from the country:Architect Ehsan Khan, Architect Tania Karim, Architect Asif M Ahsanul Haq, Architect Abid Hasan Noor,andArchitect Syeda Tuhin Ara Karim, along with artist Dhali Al Mamoon, all of whom graced the event.
