2nd day play of 2nd Test between Tigers and Kiwis washes out by rain

The second day play of the second Test between the Tigers and the Kiwis was washed out by persistent rain at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday.

The first day play of the second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand was held less than at least 8.2 overs from stipulated time due to bad light on Wednesday.

So, the second day play was scheduled to start at 9.15am.

But the second day play was washed out by rain from the very beginning of the day.

After inspecting the pitch at 1.55pm the match officials declared that the second day play was abandoned.
