‘Bring voters to poling center is our major challenge’
Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :
If BNP does not come to the 12th National Parliamentary elections, the number of voters will be less at the center.
The. ruling Awami League (AL) central leader, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president and nominated candidate for the fourth term of Kishoreganj-6 (Bhairab — Kuliarchar) constituency, Nazmul Islam Papon MP, thinks that the election competition will be reduced a lot.
Papon said, then people will think that the boat will win. What will happen when we go to the polling station? But we have to remember that Sheikh Hasina has taken this election as a challenge. He wants to show the world how to conduct fair and impartial elections
Papon said these things at the doa and milad mahfil organized on the occasion of submission of nomination forms for the 12th National elections at Zillur– IV Bhawan premises of Bhairab port town on Wednesday noon.
He further said that we have to do whatever is necessary for fair and impartial elections. Voters must be brought to the center to vote. The vote of one cannot be given by the other, the vote of the person has to be given. So this is our main challenge to bring the voters to the centre.
BCB president said that if BNP wants to stop the elections in the country without coming to the elections, then they will not be given any concessions. They will be strongly resisted.
