CHAPAINABABGANJ: Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan distributes cheques for Tk 24, 75,000 among 81 registered female volunteer organizations as a part of helping their efforts in creating awareness against child marriage and drugs in the district. The event was held at the conference room of the DC jointly arranged by Chapainawabganj District Administration and district office of Department of Women Affairs on Sunday. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Mahbub-Ul-Islam was in the chair. Deputy Director of the Women Affairs Department district office Sahida Akhtar gave the welcome speech. Assistant Director of district office of Jubo Unnayan Department Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of Zila Mahila Sangstha Advocate Yasmin Sultana Ruma, Panel Mayor-3 of Chapainawabganj Municipality Naznin Fatema Zinia, among others, spoke on the occasion.
