Ishwardi day labourer’s dream burnt to ashes

The hard-earned homestead of day laborers has been gutted by fire in Ishwardi. The fire incident took place in Sahapur Paschimpara village of the upazila around 8:30 am on Monday. The name of the owner of the burnt house is Hasan Sheikh. Hasan is a mason by profession and passed HSC last year.
Locals said that Hasan, the son of the Badsha Sheikh of that area, worked as a mason in addition to his education and arranged his happy family beautifully after marriage. But on Monday morning suddenly the house caught fire due to an electrical short circuit under the refrigerator and everything was burnt to ashes. Hasan Sheikh said that he was in the Sahapur Hafizia Madrasah next to the house when the fire broke out. Seeing the scene of fire in the house, he quickly came and tried to extinguish the fire with the help of locals. But by then everything was burnt. He also said that everything including bed, dresser, almirah, different furniture, dishes, fridge, fan, clothes, cash, gold ornaments were burnt in the fire. He said that he could not take out the things in the house.
