Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
People can reach their dreams if they have strong will, hard work and morale. Today’s favourite actress Shirin Shila is her proof. As a child, Shirin learned rock dancing. But she never dreamed that she would be a heroine.
She had a desire to be involved in the world of acting.
When Shirin Shila was a student of Class-IX, she got an opportunity to act as one of the four main characters in
the seven-episode Eid drama serial titled ‘Hero’ directed by Salahuddin Lovlu. This series is available on YouTube now. Then she got an opportunity to work in another drama series of the same director.
Noted actress Rasheda Chowdhury worked as Shila’s co-star in a drama while acting in it. She mainly felt
Shirin Shila’s performance, and her glamour, eye
expression, smile and height and encouraged Shila
to act as a heroine in movies. Shila also got the
courage to work in movies.
Once Shila met and held a meeting with the producer and director Mohammad Hossain. Mohammad Hossain assured her that in his next movie ‘I Don’t Care’ Shirin Shila will act opposite Bappi Chowdhury. But later it was found that actress Bobby is working there. Shirin Shila was very upset by this. But she did not give up or stop.
After that, Shirin Shila got an opportunity to work with Shakib Khan in Wajed Ali Sumon’s movie ‘Hit Man’.
In this movie, the audience enjoyed Shila’s great
performance in the song titled ‘Dekhona O Rosiya’
rendered by Tanjina Ruma.
After that Shirin Shila acted in several popular movies including ‘Khoniker Bhalobasa’, ‘Mon Janena Moner
Thikana’, ‘Mia Bibi Raji’, ‘Nogor Mastan’, ‘Begumjaan’. Her last released movie ‘Birangona 71’ in
which Shila acted impeccably.
Meanwhile, Shirin Shila and Symon Sadik starrer movie ‘Shesh Baaji’ got the censor clearance. This movie will release soon. Chandan Chowdhury’s movie ‘24.3 er Raat’ starring Shila is also waiting for release. Shila will be
seen as a writer for the first time in the movie.
Shirin Shila told this correspondent, “I am very grateful to the audience. Because of the audience’s love, I am today’s Shirin Shila. Yes, it is true that I have suffered
a lot, and I have given a lot of labour. The producer and director were by my side. I am grateful to them. I am
also grateful to my journalists. But I have my special thanks to my mother.”
