‘Multiple cases in the works over deadly clashes’
News Desk :
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has revealed that multiple lawsuits are being lined up in relation to the attacks on the police, journalists, government property, and vehicle burnings that occurred during the BNP’s antigovernment rally.
“The process of filing cases has already begun.
Many people affected by these incidents will file cases, including journalists,” Khan said during a media briefing on Sunday, reports bdnews24.com
“If you [journalists] choose to file cases voluntarily, the police will record them. We will handle the cases accordingly.”
On Saturday, the BNP staged a mass rally in Naya Paltan to press for the formation of a non-partisan caretaker government during the election period amid mounting political tensions.
