Singer Samarjit Roy ties knot with Oishi

Listeners’ choice popular musician Samarjit Roy finally tied the knot with his father Nepal Chandra Roy and mother Ratna Roy’s favourite bride, Oishi Dewanji. Hailed from Cox’s Bazar, Samarjit tied the knot with Oishi who is a student of master’s final in Zoology at Chattogram Government College.
On the first day of last Durga Puja, the wedding ceremony was completed in a family atmosphere, said Samarjit.
Samarjit told this correspondent that Oishi is also involved in music. Samarjit is very happy to have her as a life partner. Oishi’s hometown is in Chattogram. Her birthday is on 14 September.
Samarjit also said that he is the youngest of his three brothers. But they all have a younger sister. He will perform in a stage show on November 11. After that, he will participate in several more shows.
His last released solo original song was ‘E Shohor’, which lyrics were written by Sanjoy Roy and music was composed by singer Samarjit himself.
