Jyotika Jyoti is a versatile actress. She is more interested in working in challenging characters in different genres of stories. That is why she is seen working more in such stories and characters.
Of course, Jyoti also does these things with great pleasure and joy. Just like a work short film titled ‘Ekdin Viral Nomita Paul’. Jyotika Jyoti played the title role in this short film.
In the short film, it can be seen that Nomita Paul has been working in the government sector for a long time in Mufassil area. Later, she got promoted and came to Dhaka.
Nomita Paul, who has infinite respect and love for the country, has been facing various problems ever since she came to Dhaka.
Rajib Salehin played the role of Jyoti’s husband in the short film. He left the country because he was afraid of communalism. But his wife Nomita Paul will not leave this country.
Nomitha Paul will not allow that person in the office from which he was receiving government tenders for six consecutive years to take the tenders with illegal money.
That is why the unscrupulous person who did not get the tender set Nomita’s village house on fire when she went to the village house during Durga Puja holiday.
Then Nomita’s voice came out, “No religion supports such harm to another religion. Those who do these things are not human.”
And this ends with a few minutes presentation of such a realistic story starring Jyotika Jyoti. Story of the short film was written and directed by Chaitali Somadder.

Through work I fulfill my social responsibility. My thanks to the director for thinking of me in a bold role like Nomita Paul.
Basically, this short film was made to make people aware with the aim of increasing communal harmony.
Basically ‘Projonmo Wave’ has given the opportunity to young filmmakers to do quality work on contemporary issues.
I have my thanks to them too. And in the role of my husband, that is, my co-artiste Rajib Salehin has done an excellent job in this short film.”
