Sayma Smrity makes acting debut with movie ‘Jontrona’

Newcomer actress Sayma Smrity has made her acting debut on
the big screen with the movie ‘Jontrona’. Ariful Islam Arif directed movie ‘Jontrona’ has been released in the theatres
of the country on October 27.

On the occasion of the movie’s release, a press conference was held at a city restaurant last week. Along with the cast and crews of the movie, veteran filmmakers Kazi Hayat, Delwar Jahan Jhantu, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, Directors Guild President Ananta Hira, Directors Guild Secretary Kamruzzaman Sagar and others were present.

At the press meet, actress Sayma Smrity said, “This is my debut movie but I got a lot of support from my director and co-stars.

If they did not give me this support, I might not have been able to work well. A good movie has been made by everyone’s efforts. Everyone, please pray for me.”

The director of the movie, Ariful Islam Arif, told media, “The movie is made based on a love story. There is a novelty in the story.

The movie has been made keeping in mind the present situation.”
The movie ‘Jontrona’ has been produced under the banner of Smart Multimedia.

Apart from Sayma Smrity, Ador Azad played two important roles in the movie and Manoshi Prokrity played a special role.

The movie also cast Shatabdi Wadud, Don, Boroda Mithu, Ashraf Kabir, Sohel Rashid, Gangua, Zahid, Parvez Sumon, Sheikh Swapna, Parveen Akhtar, guest artiste Tonami Haque are also in various roles.
