Practicing objective journalism stressed

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni underscored the need for practicing objective journalism to take the country forward.

“You (journalists) should focus on objectivity and impartiality in practicing journalism,” she said while addressing a discussion organized by Chandpur press club here as the chief guest.

Pointing to the journalists on the thirteenth instant, the minister said that the history of journalists in Chandpur is very old and enriched.

Many newspapers, published from Chandpur, managed to maintain their quality from the beginning, she added, reports BSS.

“I have a deep relationship with the world of journalism,” Dipu Moni said, adding many talented journalists have been created holding my father’s hand.

“Chandpur Press Club has honored me, by making me its lifetime member,” she said.

“Nowadays, journalism has a very broad range to cover as it is not limited to just newspapers.
