Youth gets life term for rapping, kidnapping girl

A Tribunal in Kishoreganj on Thursday sentenced a young man named Noble (22) to life imprisonment for abduction and sexual harassment of a girl in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj.

The Special Judge (District Judge) of Women and Child Torture Suppression Tribunal in Kishoreganj Md. Habibullah announced the verdict. At that time, the accused in the case was present in the Tribunal.

The tribunal also fines Tk. 2 lakhs and sentences 6 months imprisonment. Convict Nobel is the son of Faizul Islam now working in Singpur of Nikli Upazila.
