Ali Raj also busy in drama

For a long time there was a dissatisfaction of the veteran film actor Ali Raj.

And that is that even though he acted in challenging roles in good story movies for a long time, he did not get national recognition for his acting.

Finally, Ali Raj has been awarded the National Film Award two times in
a row for acting in two movies.

Ali Raj got the National Film Awards for acting in ‘Pure Jai Mon’ directed by Apurbo Rana and ‘Jannat’ directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik.

However, Ali Raj said that his work in movies has decreased at the moment. Good story, offer too many characters to act, which is not the case for him.

However, he regularly gets offers to work in movies. His work is not done because he does not like those thoughts.

In the meantime, Ali Raj is trying to work regularly on television because of the rise of Ali Raj from the TV drama.

Before acting in movies, he was a drama actor. So, he has a different liking and love for TV dramas.

Ali Raj is regularly acting in the serial ‘Bokulpur Season-2’ directed by Kaiser Ahmed and airing on Deepto TV.

In addition, last Sunday, he also acted in the drama ‘Moner Moto Bon’ (part drama) directed by Joy Sarkar.

Ali Raj told this correspondent, “I’m an artist at heart. There is no such rule that I have to act in movies.

But yes, the respect and fame that I have today almost 100 per cent of it comes from movies.

My ‘guru,’ father and guide in cinema is the legendary hero of Bangladeshi cinema ‘Nayok Raj’ Razzak Bhai.

He loved me like his younger brother. I got the love of billions of viewers of this country.

I have got national recognition, which many people don’t even get in one lifetime. I am truly satisfied and satisfied with that.

I got a lot from acting life. So, I have immense love for all the producers, directors, co-artistes of my past days. And now I am acting in ‘Bokulpur’ series regularly.

In the meantime, I have acted in a drama titled ‘Moner Moto Bon’. The work has been good. I got Shirin Alam, Reshma, Prokrity as co-artistes in the drama. I hope the audience will like the drama.”

Meanwhile, Ali Raj also said that he acted in the movie ‘Agun’ directed by Bodiul Alam Khokon. But this movie is now in limbo.
