21st general meeting of BNACWC held

The 21st general meeting of the Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC) was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Armed Forces Division (AFD), Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday, reports BSS.

Principal Staff Officer of Armed Forces Division as well as Chairman BNACWC Lieutenant General Waker-Uz-Zaman presided over it, said in a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

A total of 43 senior officers from various ministries, organizations and armed forces participated in the meeting along with members of BNACWC, the release added, reports BSS.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the implementation of the decisions of the 20th general meeting and discussed the important issues to be done in the future with the aim of more effectively implementing the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) in Bangladesh.
