On September 25, the trailer of ‘Adrisshyo’ series starring Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim was released.
This trailer of 2 minutes and 15 seconds gives a glimpse of a busy story.
In the intervening years, Mahfuz Ahmed was largely invisible.
Aupee Karim did not meet much.
This year, Mahfuz has appeared with the movie ‘Prohelika’.
He is acting in almost all mediums including TV dramas and OTTs.
He is getting along with his old-time colleagues.
The web series ‘Adrisshyo’ directed by Shafayet Mansoor Rana starring Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim is releasing on HoiChoi on October 5.
After almost five years, Mahfuz and Aupee tied the screen.
This pair was last seen in Sagor Jahan’s drama ‘Neel Ghroho’.
As seen in the trailer of ‘Adrisshyo’, business icon Anis (Mahfuz) joins politics against the wishes of his wife Rezwana (Aupee Karim).
His life changed after receiving MP nomination from Gono Jagoron Party.
Anis was kidnapped one day. He finds himself in a locked abandoned room.
On the other hand, Anis’s family worried after searching all known places.
Rezwana started looking for her husband. In the trailer, Anis’s family is shown in the gap between this incident, wife-children, lust, success-conflicts in politics and business world etc.
Will Anis be released in the end? And who kidnapped him? – All answers will be available after the release of the series.
Director Shafayet Mansoor Rana said about the web series, “This is my first web series. The audience will enjoy a thrilling story with a mix of suspense and drama. Viewers will taste a new experience in our journey – I hope so.”
Actor Mahfuz Ahmed told this correspondent, “Viewers will see me in a completely new form in this web series. I have not acted in such a role before. The story is about fighting for survival. In this fight, my character Anis will make the audience face different kinds of reality. It is really a great story.”
Actress Aupee Karim shared her feelings by this way, “After a long time, I worked on the web. There are several talented actors in this series whom I like very much. The trailer is just a glimpse of what’s to come in the series of mystery-filled stories.”
Apart from Mahfuz-Aupee, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shampa Reza, Tania Ahmed, Shahadat Hossain, Suman Anwar, Ahmed Reza Rubel, Nishat Priom, etc also acted in the web series.
