Seeds, fertilisers distributed in Baraigram

Free seeds and fertilizers are distributed among the farmers in Baraigram of Natore.

5 kg of maskalai seeds, 5 kg of MOP and 10 kg of DAP fertilizer are provided to each of 50 small and marginal farmers under agricultural incentives for raising maskalai plantations.

On this occasion, Md. Abu Rasel, the new Upazila Nirbahi Officer presided over the program organized on Tuesday at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Borhanuddin Mithu, Upazila Agriculture Officer Sharmin Sultana and the beneficiary farmers were present there.

The UNO said that the current government is an agriculture-friendly government. We are working for the development of agriculture and farmers.

As part of that, we have continued the program of distribution of fertilizers and seeds under incentives, supply of agricultural machinery at subsidized prices.
