JS body okays BSMMU (amendment) bill-2023

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Saturday recommended placing the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (Amendment) Bill, 2023 with the report in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS).

The recommendation was made at a meeting of the committee in the Jatiya Sangsad with its Chairman Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim in the chair, an official release said.

Other members of the committee-Md Abdul Aziz, Syeda Zakia Nur and Rahgir Almahi Ershad-attended the meeting, reports BSS.

The parliamentary standing committee thoroughly scrutinized Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and prepared the report, the release added.
