City areas to endure suspended gas supply today

Gas supply will be suspended in the city’s different areas for 12-hour on Saturday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited said in a circular on Friday.

The supply will be halted from 10am in Uttarkhan, Dakkhinkhan, Uttara Sector-6 and Sector-8 due to pipeline replacement works in Sonargaon-Janapath Rail Crossing area.

The suspension will remain in place till 10pm, according to the circular.

Besides, consumers in adjoining areas of Uttara Sector-2 and 4 may experience low pressure of gas supply during the hours, Titas said.
