I will never acting again: Runa Laila

Renowned singer of the subcontinent Runa Laila acted in the title role in the movie ‘Shilpi’ directed by late Chashi Nazrul Islam.

Noted film actor Alamgir acted opposite Runa in the movie.

After that, Runa Laila was never seen again in the silver screen. She was never seen performing outside of her own songs.

Currently, Runa Laila is working as a special judge in the reality show, ‘Shera Kontho 2023’, which is airing on Channel i.

In response to such a question, Runa Laila said, “Do you have a headache? No, no, it is never possible for me to act again.

But I want to compose music.

I want to create some good music. May Allah keep me healthy, I want this prayer.

I want to say one more thing specifically. But there are many talented artists in our country. But they are not being utilised properly.

Their talents are not developing because they are not being used.

Then there are some who continue to try their own way to develop their talent, they have to be applauded.

However, I believe that there are talented artistes who can develop their talent if they get a good opportunity. We need a good investor.

It is also true that artists of this generation lack original songs.

That’s why they usually sing our songs except for some of their songs.

I’m not saying it’s bad. But even then they have to increase the number of original songs.

The number of basic songs should be increased by making them properly.”

Runa Laila got the love of people all over the world with his voice and songs. She said, “I can’t have anything greater than the respect, love and respect of people all over the world in one life.

People’s love is my greatest gift. With this gift I am fine, I am healthy. This is my greatest happiness.

People all over the world love me for my music – let this love be with me throughout my life. I have no qualms about the music world.

I got a lot of things in one life by Allah’s mercy and the love of people in the heart, the prayer that I am fulfilled.

I have nothing imperfect here. I think it’s time for me to actually give in.

I want to give something good to our music scene as long as I live.”

It is noted that the latest released song rendered by Runa Laila was ‘Jodi Proshno Koro,’ which lyrics were written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar. Shafiq Tuhin composed its music.
