Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sanghati Parishad paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a floral wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
Executive committee members of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sanghati Parishad led by its Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Abdus Samad Pintu and its Secretary General Kazi Rafiqul Islam recently placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the architect of Bangladesh’s independence.
Vice-chairmen of the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sanghati Parishad Abdus Salam, Abdul Malek Chowdhury, Engineer SM Azharul Islam, its Dhaka Metropolitan South President Shahjahan Saju and Dhaka Metropolitan North President Saidul Rahman, among others, were present.
A special doa was offered seeking eternal peace of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15, 1975 carnage as well as martyrs of the War of Liberation.
A special prayer was also offered wishing for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members. Chairman and Secretary General of the organisation signed the visitors’ book there..
