Death condoled

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Friday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of M Shah Alam Talukder, former chairman of Lalanagar Union Parishad (UP) of Rangunia Upazila of Chattogram.

Shah Alam Talukder, the second son of Lalanagar Union’s philanthropist late Chan Box Talukder and younger brother of former MP Nurul Alam Talukder, passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chattogram on Friday morning.

He was 62, reports BSS.

He left behind his wife, children, numerous relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.

In a message of condolence, the minister, now on a visit to the United Kingdom (UK), prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
