President mourns death of lawmaker Abdul Quddus

President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Wednesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock and valiant Freedom Fighter Professor Abdul Quddus, MP.

In a condolence message, the Head of State prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.

Abdul Quddus, also Natore district unit President of ruling Awami League (AL), breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at 7:22 am on Wednesday.

He was 77.
