Main accused in murder case arrested

Police on Sunday arrested the main accused in the murder of tailor HasinurRahmanHasu (48) of ChoubariaHaropara (Puranpara) village of Bhanguraupazila in Pabna.

His name is RimonSarkar (23).

He is the son of AtikulSarkar of RangaliaWestpara village of the upazila.

Md.Rashidul Islam, OC of BhanguraThana said that the main accused along with the sharp weapons used in the murder were arrested on Sunday.

Stating that the police are working to unravel the mystery of the murder, he said that a case (number 7) under section 302/34 has been filed at Bhangura police station.

It must be noted that Hasu was hacked to death with a sharp weapon in his home last Tuesday night.
