Joheirry Mola Dominguez wins Miss World crown

Joheirry Mola Dominguez of the Dominican Republic has won the Miss World 2026 crown.

According to a BBC report, she won the Miss World title on Saturday evening in Nha Trang, Vietnam, beating 111 contestants. Joheirry Mola won the title of Miss World Dominican Republic 2025.

By winning that competition, she got the opportunity to compete in the world pageant.

Joheirry, who is successful in the world of fashion and modelling, is also a teacher, journalist, and social activist.

Last year’s Miss World Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, placed a blue crown on her head.

From now on, the Dominican beauty will represent the Miss World organisation’s various charity works and the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ campaign around the world at the international level.

The first runner-up in the competition was Spain’s Elisabeth Reines, and the second runner-up was Miss Malaysia Tanusia Chetty.
