Nawshaba to act in Kolkata movie

With the passage of time, the demand of Bangladeshi actors is increasing in the other side of the Bengal.

Artistes of this countryare writing names oneafter another in web series or movies in Tollywood.

After Jaya Ahsan,Chanchal Chowdhury, Mosharraf Karim, Mithila, Tasnia Farin, Arifin Shuvoo, this time Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed has joined the Kolkata cinema.

This actress will be seen inAnik Dutta’s movie ‘Joto Kando’. Nawshaba’s journey to Tollywood will startwith this movie.

The director Anik has arranged the screenplay of this movie based on the popular detective series ‘Feluda’ and interesting incidents and riddles.

Kolkata’s popular actor Abir Chatterjee will play the lead role in the movie.

The movie ‘Joto Kando’ will have one more track parallel to the original story.

It was written in the context of the fifties. Bangladeshi actress Nawshaba can be seen in that context.

It is known that Kolkata’s actress Madhumita Sarcar was supposed to act in this role first.

Nawshaba is now in Dhaka, busy with the stage play titled ‘Siddhartha’.

Nawshaba told this correspondent from the rehearsal room of this play, “I have already talked about the Kolkata movie.

I am acting in the movie.”Srish Chatterjee is opposite Nawshaba in the movie ‘Joto Kando’. Srish is the son of Kolkata’s noted actress Debjani Chatterjee.

It is known that the shooting of the movie ‘Joto Kando’ will start in the middle of September

Director Anik Dutta has planned to shoot in different places of Kolkata and Darjeeling.

Nawshaba has been busy with acting recently.

She is working equally in both OTT and movies.

She finished dubbing of a movie titled ‘Meghna Konnya’ a few days ago. Fuad Chowdhury is making the movie about the protest story of two women.

In addition, the web series ‘Sharey Showlo’ starring Nawshaba will be released on August 17.

It is directed by Yasir Al Haq.Therefore, Nawshaba also returned to stage drama after about six months.

The actress is on stage for three consecutive days with the new play ‘Siddhartha’ of stage drama group, ‘Arshinagar’.

On the last day yesterday, there were two drama shows at Bangladesh Shilapakal Academy in the capital.

Before this, she acted in Komola Collective’s play ‘Neel Chhaya’ at the end of last year.
