Six get DUJA best reporter award

A total of six journalists received Best Reporter Award-2022 of Dhaka University Journalists’ Association.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman handed over the awards at a programme held at Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) auditorium on DU campus.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad and Pro-VC (Academic) Prof ASM Maksud Kamal were also present on this occasion.

Each awardees received a certificate, crest and prize money.

The award recipients in English category are- Md Moniruzzaman of The New Nation and Tausiful Islam of Daily Observer while Asif Hawlader of Prothom Alo and Mutaher Hussain of Kalbela received awards in Bangla print category.

In addition, Rasel Sarker of Bdnews24.com and Amjad Hossen of Dhaka Post received the award in online category.

Among others, renowned investigative journalist Julfikar Ali Manik and Chief Election Commissioner of the association Borhanul Haque Samrat were present.
