SJIBL launched contactless cards service

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) has taken a step forward with the conviction of providing fast, modern and advanced technology based banking services to the customers.

In continuation of that the bank on Wednesday launched contactless Debit, Credit and Prepaid cards with the aim of providing banking services to the customers at the fastest and safest time.

The cards not only provide convenience of contactless payment but also offer all the existing features of regular SJIBL Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.

The cards are faster ways to pay with the SJIBL cards for purchases at participating stores.

Instead of inserting card into the merchant terminal, only through a simply tap of card on the contactless terminal payment will be done.

Chairman of the bank, Mohammed Younus, inaugurates the cads through a function held at its head office on Wednesday as chief guest while its Managing Director & CEO Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, spoke about the overall benefits of the Debit, Credit and Pre-paid card services, said a press release.
