Youth electrocuted in Baraigram

A youth named Mehdi Hasan (28) died of electrocution while repairing a faulty electrical connection in Natore's Baraigram.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon in Kamardah village of Joari union of the upazila.

The deceased Mehdi Hasan is the son of Esken Ali of the village.

Joari UP Chairman Ali Akbar said that Mehdi Hasan was repairing the connection of the electric fan in his own bedroom.

At that time he was electrocuted by a faulty wire. Later, the relatives realized that he was rescued and rushed to the local clinic where the doctor on duty.
