BGIC’s 38th AGM held: The 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh General Insurance Company Limited (BGIC) held through virtually recently. Towhid Samad, Chairman, presides over the meeting while Vice-Chairman Salim Bhuiyan, Independent Director Mustafa Zaman Abbasi, Public Director Md. Shakil Rizvi, Nominated Directors Arunangshu Dutta, M Manjur Mahmud, Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO, Financial Consultant AZ Chowdhury. Saifuddin Ahmed, Assistant Managing Director and and a large number of shareholders of the company, were attend. The AGM approved 12 percent cash dividend on enhanced paid up capital of approximately Tk. 54.03 crore for the year 2022.
