Nussrat Jahan opens her mouth on the allegation of fraud of Rs24cr
Entertainment Desk :
The Indian actress who turned into politician Nussrat Jahan recently found herself in legal trouble, allegedly due to her involvement in fraud practices. The case against her was filed
by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shankudeb Panda last Monday claiming that the star is one of the directors of the fraud-accused real-estate company Seven Sense Infrastructure.
As per the reports, Seven Sense Infrastructure had collected Rs24 crores from investors with the promise of giving them residential flats in New Kolkata Town within four years in 2014. However, the company had failed to deliver its end of the bargain. While the investors have yet to receive their flats, the complaint accused the company’s directors of allegedly using the
company’s funds to construct their own flats.
Furthermore, Nussrat Jahan herself has denied any involvement in the case. Nusrat also told the media yesterday that she had severed ties with the real-estate company back in March 2017. She further stated that she had only taken a loan of Rs1.16 crore from the company to buy her house which she paid back with interest on May 2017.
