Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam of Bangladesh Cricket team has received offer to play in Lanka Premier League (LPL). Colombo Strikers have proposed Shoriful Islam to play for their team in the forthcoming LPL.
Earlier, right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed and promising batter Towhid Hridoy have gotten offer to play in LPL. Dumbulla Aura have offered Taskin Ahmed to play in the LPL. Jaffna Kings have proposed Towhid Hridoy to play in LPL.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and promising batter Mohammad Mithun have gotten offer from Galle Titans to play in LPL.
Shoriful Islam is the fifth Bangladesh player, who have gotten proposal to play in LPL.
The LPL will start on July 30 and will be concluded on August 20.
During this time Bangladesh Cricket team have no international competition. But the coaching camp of Bangladesh Cricket team will be start from July 31 to mark the ensuing Asia Cup and ICC World Cup.
If the BCB issues No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Shoriful Islam, the left-arm pacer will fly for Sri Lanka to play in the LPL.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has not yet confirmed that it will issue NOC for Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed. Shakib Al Hasan is now staying in Canada. He is taking part in the ongoing Global T-20 League in Canada. Taskin Ahmed is now competing in Zim-Afro T-Ten League in Zimbabwe. Shakib will join Galle Titans soon to play in LPL. Mohammad Mithun and Towhid Hridoy have no problem to get NOC from the BCB.
The participation of Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam in LPL will be decided soon.
