BCB to give Taka 35 lakh to Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will give Taka 35 lakh to Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team. Bangladesh Women’s Cricket beat India Women’s Cricket team by 40 runs (according to Duckworth-Lewis-Stern Method) in a rain interrupted first One Day International (ODI) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on July 16.
India Women’s Cricket team defeated Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team by 108 runs in the second ODI match at the same venue on July 19.
Later, Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team made a tie with India Women’s Cricket team in the third ODI match at the same venue on July 22. Thus, the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team and India Women’s Cricket team ended in a 1-1 draw. Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team made a history as they drew with favourites India in the three-match ODI series.
President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon is highly delighted for the performance of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team. Papon announced that he would give a handsome bonus to the members of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team. BCB boss stated that he would give Taka 35 lakh as bonus to the members of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team.
The members of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will get Taka 25 lakh as bonus. Besides, the cricketers who showed extra-ordinary performance in the recently concluded three-match ODI series will be given Taka 10 lakh.
Cricketer Fargana Hoque hit a century in the third ODI against India on July 22. She will get Taka two lakh as bonus. Fargana hoque is the first female cricketer of Bangladesh who hit a ton any international match.
The BCB usually rewarded Bangladesh cricketers of they performed well against any of their opponents. The BCB always recognises the performance of the cricketers, who show satisfactory performance in any international match or series. The BCB will give reward to the members of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team for their contribution in their country.
