Police FC finish 3rd in BPL

Bangladesh Police Football Club finished third position in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football beating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 3-2 goals in their last match of the league was held on Saturday at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
In the day’s match, forward Mohammad Abdullah, Colombian midfielder Mateo Palacios and midfielder Robiul Hasan scored one goal each to secure victory for Police FC.
Abdullah put Police FC ahead early in the ninth minute while Palacios doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 19th minute of the match.
Robiul Hasan scored the third goal for Police team in the 28th minute of the match.
After the breather, Ojukwu David Ifegwu reduced the margin for Chittagong Abahani in the 74th minute from a spot kick while forward Mohammad Naihan
scored the second goal for Chittagong Abahani Limited in the 90+4th minute of the match.
In the other match Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra finished fifth place in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football defeating Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 3-2 goals in their last match of the league was held on Saturday at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city.
