Light to moderate rain likely over country

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at several places as some parts of the country can experience moderately heavy falls, said a met forecast valid for next 24 hours from 9am on Monday.

“Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Dhaka divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions”, the met office said.

It also said moderately heavy falls is likely to occur at some places over the country, reports BSS.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur while minimum temperature on Monday was 24.3 degrees Celsius at Bandarban.
