Ship of coals for Rampal Power Plant arrived at Mongla Port

A foreign commercial ship named MV. Panapiya Kanla carrying the national flag of Liberia and loading 31 thousand metric tones coal for Bangladesh-India Friendship coal based Power Plant at Rampal under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district arrived at Mongla Sea Port on Thursday in morning to and Anchoraged with anchorage No.11 in the herbaria of the Port. The unloading works of coal for the Power Plant was already started.
It was confirmed by Khondokar Reazul Haq, Assistant Manager of M/S.Topy Shipping and Logistic Limited, local shipping agent of the ship and told, after the completion of the unloading works of the coal will be sent to Rampal Power Plant by lighter Ships.
It may be mentioned here that as many as 3 foreign commercial ships carrying coals for Rampal Power Plant arrived at Mongla Port during the last month (June) alone direct from Indonesia.
