AL Leader marder case accused died in hospital

Main accused of AL Leader Goyas miha murder case of Bishwanath Masuk Miah (56) died in Sylhet Central Jail on Wednesday.
Doctors and prison authorities say Masuk Miah died of uncontrolled high blood pressure and paralysis.
They claimed that Masuk Mia’s high blood pressure increased due to being accused as the main accused in the charge sheet of the murder case. He was also suffering from side weakness (paralyzed on one side). Because his high blood pressure became uncontrolled. As a result, he died on Wednesday (July 6) while undergoing treatment at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital. On that day at 5:30 in the afternoon at Baruni village of Dasghar Union of his native village, his burial was completed in the family graveyard.
Jailer of Sylhet Central Prison Sakhawat Hossain said Masuk Mia was a patient of ‘uncontrollable hypertension and side weakness’. He was admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital from prison after he suddenly suffered a brain stroke on July 1. Then he died on Wednesday 6th July while undergoing treatment.
It is known that he was arrested by Bishwanath police station from Jagannathpur police station area on the night of June 3, 2022 as the main accused in the murder case of Awami League leader Gayacha. He (Masuk Miah) was the son of late Zamir Ali of Baruni village in the upazila and was the agricultural affairs secretary of Dashghar Union Awami League.
And Sheikh Md. Goyas Uddin is a resident of the same village. On the night of May 28, 2022, Sheikh Gayach Uddin was seriously injured after being attacked near his house in Baruni village on his way home from the local pir market.
