Two women held in Bijoynagar

Bijoynagar (Brahmanbaria) Correspondent :
Police arrested two women with drugs in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Those arrested are Bakul Begum (50), wife of deceased Nurul Islam of Shambpur Railgate area of Bhairab Upazila, Farida Begum (45), wife of Siddique Mia of the same area.
On Wednesday 5th July, on the basis of secret information, in the afternoon, they were arrested on the paved road in front of the gas field adjacent to Kalisima village on the Chandura-Singerbil road of Chandura UP of the upazila.
At that time, 100 bottles of phensidyl and 2 kg of ganja were recovered and seized from the custody of the arrested.
In this regard, police officer in charge Md. Raju Ahmed said that a case has been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act and sent to the court.
