No room for corrupt persons in elections: ACC chief

The Anti-Corruption Commission does not want to see any identified corrupt person as a candidate in the national election.

“We don’t expect any known corrupts taking part in the elections,” ACC Chairman Mohammad Mohiuddin Abdullah said while replying to a question at a views- exchange meeting at the ACC headquarters in Dhaka.

The ACC will not show leniency to any individual who amass black money, he said.

Corrupt people harmful to all such as society and state also, he continued.

ACC Chairman said, ACC is trying to curb corruption from every sector even politics.

He also presented the success of ACC to lessen corruption in the country saying that the anti-corruption watchdog did not compromise with anyone considering his or her political linkage or how much powerful he or she is.

Mohammad Mohi-uddin Abdullah said corruption is a crime at any means which destroy our achievement and making disparity in the every quarter in the society.

ACC chairman roared at the corrupt people saying that ACC will take stern actions against all sorts of corrupt practices.
