We thank USA for its concern for Bangladesh

I do not know what to say by reading the news published in The Nation on May 25, 2023 under the heading Bangladesh’s upcoming national polls will be held under AL govt’. It said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made it clear that the next general election in Bangladesh will be held under her Awami League government and it will be free and fair.
We are still in deep agony for not being able to cast our votes in the last two general elections and looking forward for an election to be held under a neutral government for which political parties are staging protest rallies, but it is very disgusting that police and Awami League activists are harassing them and hundreds of them are being arrested.
Awami League is claiming that they have done so many development works, the country is prospering under their regime, then why they are afraid to hold a free and fair election?
Our heartfelt thanks to the United States and other countries who want to uphold the people’s right of Bangladesh to have a fair election of which they have been deprived of.

Animal abuses

It is unacceptable that animals are often mistreated and exploited for human gain, whether it be for entertainment, food production, or experimentation. We must recognize that animals have the capacity to feel pain, fear, and suffering, just as we do, and we must do all we can to prevent them from being subjected to these experiences.
Animal abuse comes in many forms, ranging from physical violence to neglect and abandonment. It can happen in a variety of settings, including homes, farms, and laboratories. Regardless of where it takes place, however, it is always wrong and must be condemned.
I urge you to take this issue seriously and to do what you can to support efforts to prevent animal abuse. We must speak out against this injustice and work to create a world where all animals are treated with the care and kindness they deserve. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
