DU Arts, Law and Social Science unit admission test held

The admission test for Arts, Law and Social Sciences (Kha unit) of Dhaka University (DU) for 2022-23 academic session held peacefully on Saturday from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

According to data of DU administration, 42 admission seekers were fighting for a seat in this unit as a total of 1, 22,834 candidates submitted their applications for the test against 2,934 seats available.

The admission test was held in Dhaka city and seven divisional cities across the country.

In the 100-mark question, examinees had to face a set of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 60 marks and a written part for 40 marks.

Kamal, Treasurer Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed among others, visited the examination hall of Arts Building.

“The examination was held peacefully. The university administration and law enforcers are working to prevent any untoward incident over the country,” DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Akhtaruzzaman said in a press briefing after visiting the exam Hall.

The admission test for Science (Ka) unit will be held on May 12.

A number of 1, 27,079 admission seekers applied for this unit under the supervision of Sciences Faculty, against 1,851 seats. At least 69 admission seekers will fight for a seat in this unit.
