An ‘Eid gift distribution ceremony of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’ organized by Dhaka South City unit of Jubo League was held at Dholaipar High School ground in the capital ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash wsa present as the chief guest in the programme held on the fifteenth instant. While speaking Parash called for formation of a committee to investigate into the recent fire-incidents. Parash said that several fire-incidents were taken place at various places recently. “I am requesting the government to see whether there was any conspiracy behind such fire-incidents,” he added, reports BSS. “Such frequent fire incidents cannot be considered as mere accidents,” he said, adding that BNP-Jamaat is good to hold fire-incidents as they have experiences to this end. An investigation committee should be formed to find out the true facts, he continued. Dhaka South City unit of Jubo League Acting President Moin Uddin Rana presided over the programme while acting general secretary HM Rezaul Karim Reza conducted it. Jubo League’s Organizing Secretary Saifur Rahman Sohag, Publicity Secretary Jaydev Nandi, Office Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Masud and Deputy Secretary Delwar Hossain Shahzada also spoke, among others, on the occasion.
