More rain expected across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusts or squally wind at few places across Bangladesh.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal divisions”, said a met office press release valid for 24 hours from 9am on Sunday, reports BSS.
Day and night temperatures may rise by 1°C-2°C throughout the country, it added.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 16.2°C at Tetulia.
The sun will set in Dhaka at 6:14pm on Sunday and rise at 5:49am on Monday.
