Young woman found dead in Nikli’s residential hotel, youth arrested

A 22-year old woman was found dead in a residential hotel at Nikli haor upazila of Kishoreganj on Wednesday noon.
The victim was identified as Tamanna (22), daughter of Shahid Miah in Kuliarchar’s Jaganthpur.
The body was recovered from Paradise residential hotel in Nikoli haor.
Confirming the dead, Nikli Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Mansur Ali said that a young man with victim took a room of Paradise Hotel.
Police also arrested victim’s husband Humayun (28).
OC also said, on March 25, Tamanna and Humayun went to room number 609 in Paradise Residential Hotel as husband and wife. Humayun took Tamanna to Upazila Health Complex, while duty doctors declared her dead.
Doctor in the emergency department of Upazila Health Complex Tanushree Saha said that the young woman was brought to the hospital around 11:11 o’clock.
 A man named Humayun, posing as husband, brought her. There was another person with him, but he is not able to say anything to the hotel authorities.
Later, the police came and took away the body.
The body was sent to Kishoreganj general hospital morgue for autopsy.
Further legal action is pending, OC in Nikli added.
